1925 Biography - Etheldred Jones

Etheldred Jones was among the earliest settlers of this county; he was of Scotch ancestry, but whether a native of Scotland or North Carolina is not known. He came from North Carolina to Tennessee and from there to this county. He had children Mary (2), Susan (2), Clara (2), William T. (2) John (2), Lorena (2). Mary (2) married John Wise; Susan (2) married Rayford Pearce, Clara (2) married Newton Pearce. William T. (2) married Eliza (see Carter). John (2) married Jane Smith. Lorena (2) married Have Davidson.
