The Judge of Probate for Johnson County to Mary McGinnis and William McGinnis Greeting.

Whereas Richard McGinnis late of this county died intestate as it appears, I do therefore give and Grant unto you the said Mary and William full power and authority to administer all and singular the goods, chattles and credits of the said deceased wherever they may be found, and to collect, levy, demand and in a legal manner require and _______ all and all manner of debts that are or may be owing to the said dec'd. and well & faithfully to dispose of the same according to law.

And lastly I do hereby appoint you the said Mary and William McGinnis Administratrix and Administrator of all and Singular the goods, Chattles and credits of the said Richard McGinnis deceased.

In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed my private Seal (there being no Seal of Office) at Vienna this 12th day of May 1823.
