1925 Biography - William Grissom
William M. Jr., son of William M. Grissom, a farmer and early settler of Grantsburg township, was born in this county 1872 and educated in the public schools and Southern Illinois Normal. He was a teacher and farmer, also served the county as Superintendent of Schools. He married Nettie (see Farris). Their son, Curtis was killed in France while serving with the A. E. F. Mr. and Mrs. Grissom, with their daughters, Dorothy and Mildred reside in California.
