Obituary - Patsy Choate
Creal Springs – Patsy Johns Choate, 68, formerly of Hinckley, died at 2:15 a.m.
Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, in Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cosby-Sloan Funeral Home, with the Pastor
Glenn Webb officiating. Burial will be in Webb Cemetery. Visitation will be from
5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Webb Cemetery.
Mrs. Choate worked for CTS Knight in Sandwich for 10 years.
She was a member of Community Christ Church in Tunnel Hill.
She was born June 3, 1939, in Tunnel Hill to Earl Johns and Carmel (Alsip)
Johns.
She is survived by her son, Jeff Peppers of Creal Springs; step-son, Joel Choate
of Sebring, Fla.; daughters and sons-in-law, Natalie and Dennis Hilliar of Creal
Springs, Kimberly and Anthony Thompson of Hinckley, Teresa and Keith Morsch of
Somonauk and Sandra and Anthony Williams of Plano; brothers, Bobby Johns of
Creal Springs and Earl Ray Johns of Creal Springs; sister and brother-in-law,
Edith and Kenneth Webb of Tunnel Hill; eight grandchildren; two
great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; two great-stepgrandchildren;
uncle, Chester Johns of Creal Springs; aunt, Faye Simmons of Goreville; and
cousin, Carlene Kay Kelly of Creal Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Coy Sam Choate.
